I have had the privilege of being a leader and manager, and during this time, I have utilized the Career Driver Cards with my team. It is a fantastic tool that facilitates learning about what motivates individuals in their careers and personal lives. It enables managers and employees to have productive conversations about career development and helps connect individuals with the necessary resources. Each person is motivated by different things, and this can change over time. I take the time to reevaluate my motivations every six months, and it's always fascinating to observe how they have evolved over time.
