Is it too early to be predicting design trends for 2009? I think these are more of what we are seeing at the end of 2008 and will continue through 2009, but things change really quick, so I would say these are trends for 2009. Well, Smashing Magazine has a list of what to expect this coming year for website design. Some of them include; letterpress, rich user interfaces, PNG transparency, Big Typography, and font replacement.

I really like these designs. It’s all about strong letter-face because it looks clean and really engages the reader. Great article and visuals… I look forward to reading more.
